Grants

We have received a high number of grant applications in the past few months. Unfortunately, we are not accepting new applications at this time. Please check in again this fall for updates.

The ELF provides small grants of $500 to $2,000 to registered Canadian charities.

We only support direct literacy program delivery. Book buying projects not associated with a literacy program will not be funded.

Grants can be used for literacy programs and operating expenses such as salary and program materials.

Applications are evaluated by our Grants Advisory Committee throughout the year. Not all applications will be funded. We make every effort to provide you with the outcome of your application within three months.
