The ELF offers training for diverse and innovative literacy programs. Our experience and strength are in supporting programs for children from new Canadian, First Nations, low income and special needs communities.
Organizations and schools interested in developing a literacy program from start to finish are welcome to visit our Ottawa office and local programs for a complete two-day training session. Unfortunately, at the present time, we are unable to cover the travel and hotel costs for visitors to our programs.
The majority of our training sessions are done by phone and cover topics ranging from approaches to literacy skills development, volunteer training and training to accompany our materials. These brief sessions are offered at our cost and are often no longer than two hours.
